We cannot sugar-coat it, life can sometimes really hit hard and loss and pain can blur our perspective and disrupt our well-being. Often, it is unresolved pain and wounds, that can cause bitterness in our heart, "defiling ourselves and our relationships." - Higinia
For God has not given us a spirit of fear; but of power, and love, and of a self-discipline (sound mind, sound judgment)" (KJV and NASB)
Zephaniah 3:17 reminds me that before "I" chose to delight in Him (Psalm 37:4), GOD delighted in ME - wow! If He only knew.....wait He does! And still delights and wants ME! |
How does feeling loved, free, secure, restful and living from abundance sound to you? Spiritual Renewal PPE™ (SRPPE) is my signature program that is practice-based step-by-step journey using biblical principles guided by the Holy Spirit. SRPPE is a great compliment to the healing work of the Grief Recovery Method® to move you beyond the emotional pain of a loss BUT it can stand alone to heal, re-awaken or jump-start your heart to live victorious in Christ. Because both recovery approaches have brought such transformative healing in my life like nothing before, my preference is to walk you through both approaches, back to back. Not only will you overcome grief and loss, you will awaken to God's embrace and be empowered to live as the person GOD has created you to BE as an Image-Bearer (not just "be your best you" or about behavior modification) and live exponentially in Christ. God is not done with your story! He is in the business of giving beauty from ashes for His glory (John 12:27-28) For so long of my life after much pain, failure and set-backs, I have lived from an “orphan” mentality do to neglect and abandonment wounds. Yet, I have begun to really grasp the truth of what author Joanna Weaver (2006) wisely states, "satan is not nearly as disappointed for losing me from his kingdom as he is determined to keep me from being effective in God's kingdom. If satan can't make me fall away from God's grace, he will do everything he can to keep me from fully embracing God's grace. Satan wants me to be constantly preoccupied with what we are not that we never get around to realizing all that God is! Our enemy wants to keep us so consumed with our inadequacies that we never get around to appropriating the love and transforming power God has made available to us through His Son." (p.26). God desires to show you the true story of your life. Often we or society create stories about who we think we are often falling very short of who GOD says we are. And again, attaining "a better version of ourselves" is not the goal. That goal falls so short of God's purpose for your life. SRPPE is the journey that will bring you "back home". Together, with a posture of preparedness (and great humility) and the power of the Holy Spirit, we journey on this roadmap to a sweet, unbroken intimacy with God. Many of us start off strong and with great zeal in our relationship with God. Then loss/pain, disappointment of any and many kinds, hardship, sin, strongholds or generational curses appear, and we hit a wall. Many of us may feel angry and distant towards God, especially if the loss was too painful and our heart is broken. Our faith is shaken, often shattered to the point of walking away completely from our relationship with God and faith in Christ Jesus. Or we simply opt to settle with the motions of religiosity with no intimacy nor lasting joy. Or like myself, can go back to old habits and hurt self an others in different ways. BUT then as we "come back to your senses" (Luke 15:17), trying hard to make a U-turn we may feel shame, guilt, undeserving or unworthy to turn back to God's amazing love after "blowing it royally". I know, really. Satan also wants us to go on our own strength, to "will" ourselves to change, to attempt to get a "better version of ourselves". If we succeed, without Jesus as the source, success is only temporary or superficial at best. Through SRPPE we will walk through those beliefs to move to the truth that God desires you more than anything- HE delights in you! - Zephaniah 3:17 I love Zephaniah's sweet reminder. For 27 years of my Christian walk I was only familiar with Psalm 37:4 which states - "Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart." I always believed I had to take the first step and God would respond. Yet, Zephaniah 3:17 reminds us that before we even chose to draw near him and delight in Him, GOD delighted in ME - wow! If He only knew.....wait He does! And still delights and wants ME! He is the Great Shepherd of our soul, Redeemer of all our scars...By His wounds we are healed! "Christ became what I was...so I could become what HE IS". (Weaver, 2006, p.36) Again, it is not about "behavior modification" but about genuine spiritual transformation from the inside out. So let's "prepare your mind for action." ~ 1 Peter 1:13 We will:
Whether this is your first time or not to begin your relationship with God. You can start where you are and grow in your faith. You have come to the right place - the gateway to God through Christ Jesus, by washing yourself in His Word (Ephesians 5:26) and guided by the Holy Spirit. There is a chance that you may realize that perhaps for the first time (or since a long time) you are going from head knowledge of God's love story (God's Word - the Bible) for YOU or from a life of religious doldrum to experiential heart connection with God, especially as Father, a relationship that is so essential to our sense of belonging and worth. You could also be like me, you may have "tripped" many times along the way but it's ok, dare to fail forward. The answer to any disruptive and painful cycles we often experience is always Christ Jesus our Lord! (Romans 7:25, 8:1-3) Are you ready to be or continue to be transformed? The program is offered IN PERSON or VIRTUAL via a secure, confidential, video platform. Your privacy and confidentiality are our priority. |
I will put beautiful crowns in their heads instead of ashes. I will anoint them with oil to give them gladness instead sorrow. I will give them a spirit of praise instead of sadness. The will be like oak trees that are strong and straight. The Lord HIMSELF will plant them in the land that will show how glorious HE is. ~ Isaiah 61:3
